His personal integrity became one of the strongest foundations of the company. Sergii was a person who kept his word, treated people fairly, and built trust through actions. This naturally shaped the way Xpand works with clients, partners, and within the team: with honesty, responsibility, and respect. He did not need to enforce these principles – he showed them through his own example.

Sergii also influenced the way leadership is understood at Xpand. His belief that “managing a team means to be with a team” became part of the company’s leadership culture. It created an environment where leaders stay close to their teams, support them directly, and share responsibility rather than simply control the process. At Xpand, leadership is built on partnership, involvement, and trust.

His approach to technology was just as practical and hands-on. Sergii believed that staying on top of technologies means using them in practice, staying curious, and continuously learning. This mindset helped shape Xpand as a company where expertise grows through real experience, experimentation, and constant development.

And, of course, his optimism became part of Xpand’s mindset as well. His phrase – “In the end, everything will be fine” – reflects the calm, resilient, and solution-oriented attitude that still helps the team move forward, even when challenges appear.

Sergii tragically passed away in 2018, but his values, ideas, and way of leading remain an important part of Xpand. We remember him not only as the founder of the company, but as a person whose vision continues to guide us. What he started still lives in the way we work, support each other, and move forward as a team.
